Quality of Care
We are here to provide you with a complete veterinary service emphasizing excellence in patient care and customer service. In addition to a wide range of veterinary outpatient services, we are equipped to provide virtually all surgical and dental services to our clients’ pets. We treat your pets as if they were our own and are committed to providing compassionate care for your animal companions.
State of the art equipment and medication enable the doctors to provide the highest quality diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery dental care and therapeutics. Our expansion and remodel in 2001 allowed us to add an ultrasound machine, a fiber optic endoscope, a dental radiograph machine, new intensive care and isolation wards, and more examination rooms. In 2010, we went digital with all of our medical records, xrays, and lab work to improve communication and record keeping. GO GREEN! We have close working relationships with all the specialists and referral centers in our area. Often, we can have a specialist come to our clinic to perform the required procedures so that you pet can be cared for in familiar surroundings by those of us who know him/her the best.
We are available for phone consultation in the evenings and on weekends if you have any questions or concerns that can’t wait for regular office hours. If we feel your pet requires immediate attention, we will provide you with a referral to the emergency clinic that best suits your needs. If your pet clearly has an emergency after hours, please visit our link “For After Hours Emergencies” for a list of emergency clinics.
Our fees are based on the type of service delivered. Since fees will vary depending on the type of treatment needed, we will provide you with an estimate of the probable cost of services before we begin treatment. We encourage you to discuss fees with us at any time. Payment at the time of service is expected. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, ATM/Debit and Care Credit.
Everyone is experiencing tough economic times. We understand how difficult it is to decide what to eliminate from your budget when it all seems important. Hazel Ridge Veterinary Clinic wants to team with you to set up a plan that meets the needs of both you and your pet. It is less expensive and less painful to detect and treat disease early, so please do not delay a needed examination. At that time, your veterinarian will discuss options and cost with you to help your dollar go farther.
“I think animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.”
