NOVEMBER AND FEBRUARY ARE DENTAL SPECIAL MONTHS

Hazel Ridge Vet patient receives a dental cleaningHazel Ridge Veterinary Clinic offers dental discounts two months of the year - November and February. We take a lot of time with each dental procedure, and it helps us with our schedules by doing most dental procedures during our slowest months. As a thank-you and incentive, we offer these procedures at a discount for our clients.

Dental disease is a very important problem in veterinary medicine. Our greatest concerns are pain and infection. This can be caused by gingivitis, periodontal disease, malocclusions, cavities, abscesses, oral tumors and ulcers. It is important to correct these problems, and help you learn how to keep your pet's mouth clean and healthy.

Each dental procedure is different, and is based on your pet's age, health problems, and type and degree of dental disease. We recommend pre-operative blood work, and a good dental cleaning for every pet. Most pets will require general anesthesia. Some may require intravenous fluids, dental x-rays, fillings, or gum surgery. We offer a complimentary physical examination to determine what procedures are needed for your pet, and can give you an estimate of costs at that time. If your pet has been given a dental estimate by one of our veterinarians, you do not need to schedule this pre-dental exam.

Did you know we have over 20 products to help you keep your pet's mouth healthy?

"It's character that counts. We should show unconditional love to our families, loyalty to our friends, and always seek to protect them from harm. When we fully attain such an exalted character, we will finally exhibit the normal traits of a dog."    -author unknown
