Halloween Hints   

As much fun as Halloween is for children and adults alike, it can be dangerous and upsetting to your pets.

The biggest concern for cats is the danger of abusive behavior on the part of people. Tragically, there are people who purposefully hurt cats during this holiday - black cats are especially at risk. All Cats become anxious and upset with the "invasion of their territories" on Halloween night. It is best to keep all cats closed in a safe room for the duration of the trick or treats.

Dogs love chocolate! Chocolate is poisonous to dogs. Dogs will eat any chocolate that they can get their paws and lips on and they are very creative in getting into the goodies. Consider yourself warned...
