The administrative staff are the people with the friendly, compassionate faces you see when you first arrive at Hazel Ridge.
Redonda has dual responsibilities. She is our Office Manager and a Veterinary Assistant. Redonda started working in the Veterinary field in 1990. She started working at Hazel Ridge in 1998. She has a B.S. degree in Biology from Sacramento State. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking and training for the Leukemia Society Half Marathon.
Christine joined the Hazel Ridge Team in 2012. She is our Practice Manager, but you will also see her working as our receptionist, and as a veterinary assistant. Christine has a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration, she is a member of Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Sacramento Valley Veterinary Practice Managers Association. Christine and her husband have three children and two furry friends, a very happy labrador retriever and mischievous kitty. Her family enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and camping. When they are not in the great outdoors they enjoy tending to their vegetable and flower gardens and playing Parcheesi at home.
Crista came to Hazel Ridge in 2017. Crista brings a friendly smile, energetic personality, and several years of veterinary experience. She is well versed in our veterinary practice software and represents our practice standards and values in assisting with your pet’s veterinary needs. Along with Dr. Vance she also came to us from Country Oak Veterinary Hospital.
Kaye has actually been with us now since the fall of last year, she came to us from the Folsom City Zoo and Sanctuary. Chances are if you’ve come in on a Saturday you’ve already met Kaye who is part of regular Saturday staff in the front desk reception area. Kaye is friendly and compassionate. She is anxious to help you and your pet with scheduling, prescription request and any general information needs.
Nurse Triskit came to Hazel Ridge as a kitten in 2004. She can be seen sitting on the counter watching the sparrows in the spring! If your pet is taken in the back for any kind of treatment, Nurse Triskit is very good at supervising and monitoring the staff’s work.
We are sad to announce the passing of Triskit at the end of January 2017. She was surrounded by all her favorite people and a fresh load of laundry!
Zsa Zsa came to Hazel Ridge in 2009. She is a rescue from River City Cat Rescue. She is special needs, but that does not slow her down as Administrative Assistant to Triskit. You can find Zsa Zsa on Facebook! Zsa Zsa Wobble – Kitty.
